BI had meetings back to back all morning. Then the printer broke in the middle of putting together the Wix Soap presentation, and the phone rang off the hook from the minute I walked into the office.

今天上午是连轴开会。在准备Wix香皂介绍时打印机又出了问题。电话从我一进门就响个不停。

ANot a good day, I hate to tell you that Mr. Emory wants to see the designs for the Polish Paste Ad tomorrow morning.

真不是好日子。我真不好意思告诉你，埃莫里先生明天上午还要看Polish Paste的广告设计。

BI can’t believe it! I guess I’ll be here until ten again tonight!

AHi there, Philip. How’s everything going?

BIt’s going pretty well, but I’m really tired!

AI don’t blame you. You’ve had a busy first week. Take a rest!

BIt’s all right. I don’t mind being busy!

ASue? Do you want to join the softball team? We need another player.

BI haven’t played softball since I was in high school!

我从上中学就没打过垒球了。

ACome on! It’ll be fun. We play every other Saturday afternoon from May until August.

BOkay. I guess I could give it a try.
